***Majolica Cauliflower Bordallo Pinhiero Dish***

This is an amazing vintage mid-century Majolica, green and white glazed cauliflower form dish. The outer rim of the dish shows the textured head of the cauliflower whilst the center shows the distinctive shaped outer leaves. This particular design is a rare find. Whilst researching, I’ve only found 2 others for sale online of the same design. DIMENSIONS: 11ʺW × 11ʺD × 2ʺH PERIOD: 1900 - 1909 COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Portugal Manufacturers mark on the base: Bordallo Pinheiro C. Rainha with the frog stamp This piece is showing signs of use and wear (commensurate with age) but is otherwise in really good vintage condition. Please note, there is some wear to the centre of the dish. Not particularly visible but you can feel where other dishes have been placed on top and worn away some of the glaze. There are also some chips to the rim of the dish that will need restoration. The item has been priced accordingly. ***Item bought as seen.
