A Mason’s Patent Ironstone China Cake Stand with EPNS pedestal base. Cream in colour, with a brightly coloured floral pattern in bright shades of blue, green, red and yellow, and a central patterned band of black and green. In really excellent condition for its age with no cracks, chips or crazing. There are a few very minor imperfections within the glaze, which are illustrated in the close-ups. The EPNS base has lost its lustre somewhat (and the underside, obviously not usually visible, is tarnished), however, it comes up well with a buff and some silver polish.
