MID CENTURY ERCOL 'MODEL 355' STUDIO COUCH / DAY BED AND PAIR OF ARMCHAIRS. A beautifully designed & crafted vintage Studio Couch/Day Bed. Model number 355. The Studio Couch was designed by Lucian Ercolani in 1958 and manufactured by Ercol in the 1960s/70s. Constructed from solid English Elm & Beech with stunning grain to the solid elm back support. This is the most desirable blonde (beech) model. The studio couch is in excellent original condition. The Pirelli webbing is all in good order and been replaced at some point albeit not by us. Dimensions: Width across the arms: 205cm Width of seat cushion: 187cm Total Depth: 80cm Depth of Seat: 66cm Depth of Seat with back cushions in place: 51cm Total Height: 77cm Height to Seat: 44cm A stunning and rare sofa - and with original cushions which retail for £100s on their own - that would bring a touch of classic Mid Century style to any interior space.
