MCM Glass Vase for Flowers

A stunning glass art vase that has been cleverly painted to give the appearance of wood, with the slight hint of a giraffe marking also! This beautiful hand crafted glass vase has been painted by hand in multiple layers which gives a nice textured effect and some lovely detail in the paint work. The painting is on the inside of the glass so the external area is smooth glass. This unique hand blow glass vase, produced during the mid-century is quite a unique vase and I am struggling to find another similar. The glass has a nice heavy, good quality feel to it, a nice thickness to keep it in tact, but thin enough to ensure the quality is not compromised. The vase is in overall very nice condition with no damage or chips and is a nice tall, practical size for the longer stemmed blooms. The height of this quirky retro vase is 28cm by 12cm wide at the widest point. Due to the good size of the vase, this could also be used as a floor vase to hold dried sticks or other natural decoration. I have been unable to identify the producer of this lovely vase.
