Vintage MCM Massimo Vignelli Heller white melamine water jug. Dating from the 1978. Massimo Vignelli was perhaps best known for his iconic redesign in 1972 of the NYC subway signs and underground map. He was a vocal proponent of the modernist movement, believing that graphic design should be based on radical simplicity and the grid. Part of Massimo Vignelli’s Modern Dinnerware range, first released in Italy in 1964, in Italy. The range swiftly became a touchstone of modern design and has been called an “icon of sixties utilitarian chic.” Heller features straight sides and an underside lip.
