White Selene chairs designed by Italian Architect Vico Magistretti for Artemide Design Period 1960 to 1969 Identifying Marks This piece has an attribution mark Style Pop Art, Vintage, Italian Modern, Modernist, Space Age The S-shaped cross section gives the legs strength stability and stack ability. Made from just a single piece of compression-moulded 3 mm thick reglar (fiberglass-reinforced polyester) and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The shape of the elastic back rest is very comfortable. thanks to this innovative industrial production method, suggested by magistretti, ‘Selene’ was one of the most affordable industrial products of its time.
