MCM Vintage Deep Royal Blue Studio Pottery Dish - Signed D Clisham, Porthmadog Wales - Small Welsh Oval Decorative or Serving Dish #120 A transfixing deep blue studio pottery oval dish produced in Porthmadog, Wales by the talented potter D Clisham. The dish features a swirl design to the inner lip and centrally to the base of the dish in a variety of blue tones. It's design is fluid like water and draws the eye in from every conceivable angle. It features a high gloss glaze bearing a couple of surface scratches to a section of the inner rim and also centrally to the dish base. I have attempted to best show this on image #8. The external colour is a very deep green and is more textured, less glazed. There also features some smudging to this colour at either end externally. The piece is signed and stamped to the base.
