Mex Modernist Hi-Ball Cups in Silver & Abalone x 4

Super rare in this style these Mexican Modernist hi-ball ‘glasses’ are truly stunning and in great condition. Dating from the 50s/60s made of silver from the Alpaca region of Mexico and lined with Abalone. The shells are attached to the silver strongly and securely… It hasn’t budged in at least sixty years or more. This was the skill of these maestros as they worked also with glass tile and stones. It is hard to find them this type at all, let alone 4 of them together. It’s a true collectible and will only increase in value. Attributed to Los Castillo family whose cousin silversmith and Maestro Salvador Teran hails from. these can go beautifully well with the pitcher which is also available separately (see last photo). if you would like to learn more about the Mexican Mod movement, then please seek out said post on my insta @anuancedhome.
