A mid century art deco Rurka walnut drinks cabinet or bureau A beautiful mid century cabinet suitable as a drinks cabinet or bureau Made in the UK by Rurka and probably dating back to the 1930’s - 50’s The upper section still has the original key with the lock having a shell effect. The legs have a lovely scalloped edge which I have not seen on other Rurka cabinets from this era. The cabinet is generally in very good condition but shows some signs of wear and tear as to be expected (see photos). The photo shows a section where the top layer of wood has chipped but luckily this is towards the back of the cabinet....more
