This lovely mid century chest of drawers has been transformed into a unique statement piece. The body of the drawers has been painted in a deep, inky navy and decorated with layers of leaves in shades of metallic copper, bronze and gold, creating an impression of dense tropical foliage. The interior of the drawers are in excellent condition - these have been thoroughly cleaned and waxed. The lovely teardrop shaped drawer handles are original - these are in good condition but do have signs of use. The painted exterior has been sealed with several layers of furniture varnish - this will protect the surfaces but care still needs to be taken. As with all my vintage pieces, these drawers have signs of their previous life, adding to their uniqueness and charm. The drawers are in great condition with minor signs of use - there is a very small dink in the front edge of the top.
