Fathers Day Special: Mid-century Black Wall Plate of Fisherman and Fish. A perfect Father's Day gift for the man in your life who loves fishing. Handsome, heavy, asymmetrical, black matte plate of fisherman and a large fish. Mid-century, abstract design, possibly using the sgraffito technique to outline the scene. Bright glazes in red, green, yellow, blue and white add details of enamel-like colour. Can be hung on the wall or used to serve at a party. Likely made in Italy. Backstamp consists of impressed xx and 4061. Measurements: 29cm x 26.5cm 2cm high Condition: In very good vintage condition with a small chip to the back and some minor flakes to the glaze on the top and bottom rims where the previous owner had attached a metal plate hanger.
