A mid century teak dressing table or desk, made by Portsmouth based White & Newton in the 1960s-1970s. Known for their high quality designs and builds, this stunning piece of furniture doesn’t disappoint. Raised on two quadrille style legs built using solid Afromosia teak, the piece almost gives the impression that it floats! The solid Afromosia is contrasted with lighter golden teak to the drawer fronts, tops and sides to really dramatic effect. We especially love the angular drawer front shapes! It just feels very modernist and just generally high quality. It could easily be a dressing table or a desk due to its size. The price includes full refurbishment to get it looking amazing again (look online to see how good these can look!), due for completion / delivery in July 2024. The price also includes free shipping to most mainland UK locations as standard. Height: 65cm Width: 163cm Depth: 44cm Space between drawers: 52cm Height from floor to underside of desk: 57cm...more
