Mid century G-Plan teak table from their Quadrille range, designed in the 1960s by R Bennett. Finished in Teak and Afromosia with angular Scandinavian-influenced handles and shaped sleigh legs. Floating top, gorgeous tone and carved handles. Stylish bedside table from the popular Quadrille range design by R Bennett in the late 60s. Minimal design finished in Teak veneer with Afromosia solid wood handles and signature solid Afromosia sleigh legs. Single drawer. Nearly square shape The Quadrille range was produced by G Plan from about 1964 to the late 1960s , but never included bedside tables . Only ” continental headboards ” were made, so some people used all original G Plan pieces from 2 such headboards to create something that would not otherwise be available. The drawers were fixed to the back of the headboards and stood on one quadrille support . Unique and very rare piece of furniture! Very good condition Professionally restored, however, some minor wear marks should be expected.
