A mid century afromosia teak coffee table with smoked glass top and rattan magazine shelf below, designed by Guy Rogers of Liverpool in the 1960-1970s. Guy Rogers were well known for high quality upholstered chairs and sofas, however they did also create matching coffee tables to accompany their seating, although these are much less common. We’re unsure of which range this coffee table was a part of, however the use of high quality materials such as solid afromosia teak, smoked glass and rattan suggests it will have been a high-end model at the time. We love the stylish, crafted shape of the wood, while the rattan and smoked glass make it look relevant and fresh even today. This would look brilliant paired with contemporary or mid century seating in your living room. The smoked glass top is practical, perfect for mopping up spills from food and drinks!
