A mid century teak sideboard or lowboard, made by British firm Meredew furniture in the 1970s. Meredew made really good quality furniture, and some of their best were these units manufactured just before their demise in the mid 1970s. It has some really nice design features, such as the curved overhang at the top and the moulded teak inset handles which give it timeless style. There’s plenty of storage space too. It’s a great height for use as a TV stand or a lower cost alternative to a long John style sideboard in a dining room. Considering the build and design quality, it’s an affordable option compared to buying new. Height: 55cm Width: 200.5cm Depth: 45.5cm Good vintage condition with usual age related wear (see photos)...more
