Armchair in the manner of Pierre Guariche 1926-1995. Remarkable by the inclination of the backrest and the advance of the seat ensuring comfort and aestheticism. Seat and backrest dressed in olive green leatherette in the spirit of the 50s. Metal structure of square section black lacquered. Stretchers link legs in each side of the fireside chairs. The design is structurally and visually very solid, with a metal frame that cradles a thickly cushioned seat and backrest. The seat and backrest are covered by green vinyl The metal is a black colour. Legs have brass finials (adjustable foot caps) The seat is lightly reclined backwards Work realized in the 1950’s, in the taste of the fireside chairs of Pierre Guariche edited by Airborne in the 1950’s. Original Upholstery. Condition: Good original condition Signs of wear consistent with use and age. Fabric with small tears on the sides and front of the backrest. Metal frame has minimal wear marks.
