A vintage painting by Louisa “Ise” Morssing (1878-1969), a Swedish artist. This painting is in an excellent vintage condition with no major flaws. The soft greens and blues along with the texture of the brushstrokes make this a very soothing painting to look at. It measures 45 x 38 cm and is ready to be hung on the wall with wire, or could be styled on a shelf with enough height. Any questions, please ask! About Ise Morssing was the daughter of major J. G. Lilliesköld and Marie-Louise Didron. She studied at Konstakademien in Stockholm between 1901 and 1904 and then traveled to Denmark, Germany, Austria, France and England. In 1904, she married the architect Gunnar Morssing, the part-owner of the architectural firm Höög & Morssing that designed about 140 buildings in the Stockholm area.
