Mid Century Modern space saver dining table . Scandinavian from the 70s Very reminiscent to the model 6289 designed by Børge Mogensen for Fredericia (Denmark). This elegant contemporary looking trestle table has a stylish double pillar base. This particular design is great for modern living making the most of all possible seating options by not having fixed legs on each corner and different options of aperture. Teak top with beech legs The top leaves finishes with round edges and being a bit narrow at the ends The Trestle base employs two sets of close-set parallel legs at either and and each grounded by a stabilizing perpendicular foot. The gateleg mechanism has a single leg with a large stretches situated a higher than usual which makes the space more comfortable to seat on. Piano hinges comfortably seats six to eight dining companions. Condition: Very good condition. Fixed, and completely restored with several coats of Varnish.
