This miniature Singer 20 lookalike by the UK firm of Grain was their top of the range offering. Described as "the console table model", it featured a drop head machine. Circa 1950s All original. While typical Grain TSM's are pretty common, only a handful of this variation in the consul or console table with extension side table tops have ever turned up. The "Consul Table Model" which combined the Grain Sewing Machine with a contemporary occasional light oak finish table which would enhance any room. The table top was two piece which slid open to reveal the machine stored below and created a wide work table for machining on. Made in light oak, machine in red. Its shape makes it desirable with long splayed legs. Perfect as a side table also would be prefect for a kids playroom, or as a decor itself. You can also decide to remove the machine and have a large table. Original assembly instructions, warranty, use instructions and needles. Condition cleaned and waxed. wear as expected for a vintage piece.
