This delightful chest of drawers was designed and manufactured probably by British firm Remploy in the mid-twentieth century. Originally purposed for use in the British Military accommodation. The chest has beautiful original metal handles, a striking rich grain, warm tones, and lovely colors throughout. Both stylish and functional this beautiful piece would make a wonderful addition to any home. The top has a white Formica top which has a leaf pattern to it. The drawers have metal handles. A vintage chest of 2 over 3 drawers issued by the Ministry of Defence. It has a durable Formica top surface with mid century design and the carcass is teak. Original condition Cleaned and oiled This is a used item of age and does have marks, scratches, chips and general signs of use and age. Some wear marks around the edges and top of some drawers. Upper lip at the back missing Some scratches, marks and chips.
