Early 1970s mobil Teak, lucite and chrome record rack designed probably by Height and Guille for Artifact. Rare opportunity to own a modernist design piece probably by Frank Guille (of chairs and stools fame) and industrial designer Frank Height. They designed the 'Encore' disk storage in 1973 for Artifact Designs and it was recognized by the Design Center. This unique piece is Made of teak with smoked methacrylate/lucite dividing panels. Raised on chrome tubular feet. This unit is made up of 5 sections, each of which has 20 12" albums or singles. This piece will make a statement into your home. Its flat top helps you to place on it your record player, or use it as a side table, magazine rack.... Dimensions: 39.5cm x 31.5cm x 37cm high Each compartment is 7.5 cm wide Condition report: In good vintage/used condition. One of the side end screws taps is missing. Doesn't affects its use.
