The painted surface has been sealed to protect it (please note that harsh chemicals and standing liquid are likely to damage the surfaces so they should only be gently wiped). The exposed wood (which I think is teak) has been stripped, sanded and waxed. Dimensions approximately: 25 cm x 9 cm high As with all my vintage pieces this has evidence of its previous life adding to its character and charm - this is in great condition other than a few small dark areas in the exposed wood (see pictures)....more
