Mid century 1960s Teak coffee table/ Blanket box by Avalon. A fantastic multi use piece of furniture The chest has a piano hinged lid that opens to reveal a spacious interior. Excellent colour and wonderful grain timber. It's large hinged lid opens to reveal a spacious interior that provides ample storage for blankets, pillows and other soft furnishings. The lid stops without problems thanks to a lid stay situated on the left hand side. Raised on legs which are the side panels which are larger than the front and back ones Recessed handle all the wide of the unit to facilitate the use of the lid. A good size, with a nice flat top, it is also finished at the back so can be used as a coffee table. Use this as a beautiful, large coffee table in the living room, at the foot of your bed as an ottoman or in the boot room for storing shoes.
