1960’s vintage ‘C.W.S. Ltd Cabinet factory’ Chest of drawers, 60s Manufactured in the 1960’s by ‘CWS Ltd Cabinet Factory Shirley, UK’ Veneered in beautiful blonde oak. Nice rounded top edges Lovely detail at the back Original brass handles, these are a minimally ornate style Features a bank of 3 graduated drawers Dove tail jointed drawers with brass handles Tapered legs with brass feet. Perfect size for any bedroom or living space. A very nice piece that will fit into any retro or contemporary home. CWS stands for Co-Op Wholesale Society and for many years they made their own furniture with large factories in UK . Most of the furniture you’ll see by them is typical 1930s , 40s , 50s and early 1960s in designs that were little different to other large makers up and down the country.
