Mid Century Vintage Set of 2 Poole Pottery Vases - White, Brown & Mottled Designs No. 34 and 83 - MCM Hand Turned / Painted Studio Art Vases Two lovely Poole pottery vases in an eye catching three tone design of white, brown and a vertical mottled strip which continues to the interior. Sisters rather than twins, this duo is perfectly complimentary for a mid century touch to any home. The small vase is convex in shape with a caramel colour to the brown section and a drip glaze effect to the mottled section whilst the larger vase has a tapered mid section, a deep brown section and a speckled effect. The set is in perfect condition however the smaller vase does have paint skips created during the manufacturing process as these have been glazed over (see image #7). Both pieces are stamped to the base. The large vase features an impressed 'Poole England' with 'D1' and pattern number 83. The smaller vase features the ink stamped Poole mark of the dolphin logo with design number '34'.
