Here we have an Iconic Neil Morris(Morris of Glasgow) Boomerang Chair. This simple but incredible designed chair is made using solid walnut stretchers & plywood with “stripey” Australian walnut veneer “boomerangs” , the assembly label states June 1959, it has a small water mark to one leg as shown in the 6th photo & some nibbles around the feet as you would expect of a 65 year old chair, it’s otherwise in excellent sturdy condition. It has been newly upholstered in a sympathetic fashion with no square edges as befits the curvaceous design, using a distressed look pale mustard/tan real leather.
