Midcentury Norwegian Pewter Pendant - Saga series
+ £3.69 delivery (3-7 days)
This, large mid-century pewter pendant measures 6cm in length and 4.5cm in width. It’s Norwegian and has the PLUS TINN stamp. Plus Tinn was part of the Plus Workshop - a collective operating in Norway between 1958 and the mid-1970’s, showcasing creative design and up-and-coming artists across a broad range of mediums, including weaving, ceramics, wood, glass, silver and furniture. Each has its own Plus group. The silversmith area was headed by Erling Christoffersen, his wife Anna Greta Eker and Tone Vigeland until the close of the workshop. They worked mainly with silver, but Christoffersen also created a collection of pewter jewellery pieces inspired by Viking sagas. This is one of those pieces! It comes without chain, but I’ll be supplying a long length of thin leather to use with it. A wonderful piece of mid-century pewter jewellery in great condition....more
