John Andersson (1899 - 1969) was a Swedish ceramicist and, amongst other works, is famous for his delicate and stunning achievements hand-creating miniature pieces, such as this bowl. It dates to the 1950s/60s and I’ve pictured it next to a pound coin to demonstrate just how perfectly and carefully it has been constructed. It was created for Swedish ceramics firm, Höganäs, and really is a special thing. Anderson’s work can be seen in museums across Sweden. UK postage only....more
