Incredible Vintage Mucha art nouveau mirror, part of Alphonse Mucha Four Seasons collection. Four Seasons Summer collectable piece features a glamorous lady in peach ombre dress, a bouquet with a summer meadow in the background, and an intricate border with extra designs in the corners. Mucha's Seasons series was emblematic of his graphic works, which featured strong-centred compositions and idealised and allegorical female figures in sensuous or provocative poses. The female figures in Mucha's works were "entwined in vaporous hair and light dresses inspired by nature, such as willowy foliage," and adorned in extravagant jewels. Mucha fills the background of these pieces with floral or abstract patterns. Natural colours and gold also help accentuate the pieces, while functional and decorative friezes often frame Mucha's illustrations.
