Multi compartment wooden art deco trinket box

A vintage multi compartment lidded box. Dating from the 1930’s. The box is made from ply, with gently curving sides. The exterior has largely been left untouched. The box sits on four low feet. The lid is completely removeable, and has a diagonal wooden handle. The curves show small splits, where the wood has been held under tension. The lid surface is uneven, with various age / usage related markings. The interior of the box has been divided into four different sized compartments, making it a useful place to store small items, without everything becoming completely jumbled.
