Beautiful piece of vintage Danish design by the inimitable “First Lady of Danish furniture design” Nanna Ditzel (1923-2005). Ditzel designed the minimalist 115 high chair for her own twins Vita and Lulu who were born in 1954. The chair features the signature soft curves of much of her design work. For her would be centennial year, her invaluable contribution to design is being freshly celebrated with an exhibition of her works “Taking Design to New Heights” showing at the Trapholt museum in Denmark until August 11 2024, trapholt.dk This piece is in beautiful original vintage condition with scratches and wear commensurate with age. The height adjustable foot rest is present and in tact, whilst however missing fitments to hold it firmly in place. two straps have been screwed in to the base of the seat, presumably as a safety feature by a previous owner.
