The artist has beautifully captured the form of the figure’s body, using a subtle range of beige, pink and nude tones, skilfully blending the figure into the background yet keeping her form distinct from the scene. This very masterful study features broad and gestural brushstrokes, creating texture and three dimensionality while still maintaining its wonderfully delicate nature.
