Small framed original oil on board signed by artist Peter Gladman entitled ‘On the Edge of the New Forest’. This landscape oil painting captures the essence of the new forest with heathland and scrub and the trees. There is great texture to this painting which makes the landscape come alive. The signature of the artist is located on the lower left of the picture. The condition of the picture is as expected for a piece of this age. There is some cracks to the oil at the top left corner and discolouration which reveals its timeworn charm. Dimensions framed Height 25.2cm Width 30.3cm Framed in a wooden frame with an inner gilt detail which is in overall good condition. Title of work to the reverse plus number 72, possibly date of painting. Ready to hang on the wall. Please note these prints are vintage and there may be minor imperfections.
