This is a this stunning, vintage, retro, mid-century, Scandinavian, studio pottery plant pot from Norway. Hand-decorated. The upper portion is glazed with a matt brick-red glaze (less vivid than may be depicted in the photos!) decorated with green and enameled white swirls and lines and enameled red lines. Lower portion has a matt black glaze with blacky-red enameled lines. Glossy brick-red glaze inside. Red clay. Painted backstamp: "893 / 426, HAND MADE, IN NORWAY". I've not been able to find a manufacturer. In excellent vintage condition without cracks, chips or restorations. No crazing. Minor wear / scratches. 17 cm (6.69 in) in diameter x 12 cm (4.72 in) high. 739 grams. Please review the photos carefully as they form an important part of the listing and condition.
