Two (one SOLD, one AVAILABLE)1970’s side tables by Brazilian designer Percival Lafer. They have the amazing style of the Brazilian Modernists, a group of designers of which Percival Lafer was an innovative and leading light. The smoked glass tops sit on rich dark Rosewood frames, which have slightly angled lozenged shaped legs referred to as ‘puffed’ - a curved soft design synonymous with Percival Lafer. These are cleverly contrasted against the raw metal fixings visible on the frame. Both tables are in good condition for their age. The frames show some signs of use and age on close inspection. Still has original labels. As this is a large item it can be picked up from the HoMV studio in N15, or delivered by a courier. We are happy to help get a cost and arrange a courier.
