This is an Edwardian / Victorian English Stoneware "The GOURMET BOILA CHALLIS' PATENT NO 7. These were traditionally used for making suet puddings. ***There is only one pot now available *** A prominent utensil in a Victorian or Edwardian kitchen. These stoneware jars would add to any interior especially a farmhouse or period home. Perfect for storage maybe some utensils / cutlery or for displaying flowers. Both of these jars have wear and tear which is expected for kitchenware of this age. The lids both have damage, one more so than the other. However the lids still retain the lip underneath to keep them firmly in place. There is staining to both stoneware jars inside. Please see the pictures for the damage.
