Oriental style mahogany fitted bureau The bureau is made of mahogany and overall is in fantastic condition. Five drawers in total with two short over three long, all dovetailed and running well. All the drawers have matching cup handles that are decoratively carved. The bureaus leaf also has a centrally carved design that follows the drawer pattern. Once opened the bureau side pieces open together smoothly. Inside we have a large and deep working area with a fitted back that can actually be removed by simply pulling out. We also find at the top of the interior is a slim secret drawer just to add another lovely little feature to an already wonderful bureau. Please see all photographs!
