A beautiful landscape with summer sky by the established Swedish artist Mats Rydstern (born 1952). The artist captures the play of sunlight in blue skies over a summer landscape in block-like brushwork. Notes on the artist: Mats Rydstern, born in Stockholm in 1952, and educated at Valands School of Fine Art in Gothenburg from 1973 -1979. Many solo exhibitions and represented artist in fine art galleries. •Oil on canvas signed to front and initialed and dated to reverse ‘2000. •Oil on canvas in very good condition; the canvas is laid onto board and held in a floating wooden frame with gilt finish - marks to gilt finish yet decorative. •Framed size 14” x 19.25” (36cm x 49cm) Any questions please ask.
