A brilliantly executed modernist landscape painting, executed in oil onto canvas and dated 1952. Simple yet effective in its composition, the artist has crafted a captivating depiction of a pathway meandering through a landscape adorned with lush trees. Drawing inspiration from cubism and abstraction, the artist skilfully employs black lines throughout the composition to accentuate the three-dimensionality of the scene.
