This lovely antique pine trunk has been transformed with a wash of watery aqua and hand painted whimsical whales and turtles - Winnie and Friends. It's a completely unique statement piece, perfect as decorative storage and unusual as it has a working lock and key. The exterior of the piece has been sealed with several layers of furniture wax (standing liquid and harsh cleaning chemicals are likely to damage the surfaces so care needs to be taken) and the interior which is also painted in the aqua has been sealed with beeswax. Dimensions approximately: 45.5cm x 35.5cm x 26.5cm As with all my vintage and antique pieces this trunk has bumps and blemishes that reflect its previous life adding to its uniqueness, character and charm - there are some losses to the edges and general signs of wear.
