A pair of framed, antique, botanical wood cut book plates from 'Roses and their Culture' by W.D Prior 1886. Custom, black wooden frames with hanging attachment. One book plate depicts the different shapes of rose flower heads. The other, a standard rose with its parts labelled. The illustrations are wonderfully detailed and decorative. Complemented by their black frames, they would work in a contemporary or vinatge interior. Perfect gifts for gardeners and rose lovers. Frame size: 17.7cm high, 11.7cm wide, 1.3cm deep.
