Marajó art or Marajoara art, consists mostly of decorated ceramic pieces found on Marajó island. Marajó is a delta island located right at the mouth of the Amazon River in the state of Pará in Northern Brazil. Everyone knows we love ceramics and this pair delivers twice over - not to mention the faces. We're estimating the pair is from the late mid century, however a lovely example of work from the area.
