Lovely pair of studio pottery candlestick holders, made in north-west Wales in a local pottery in the village of Brynsiency on Anglesey. Decorated with a beautiful chestnut brown drip glaze, giving a unique mottled effect. Scalloped edge sconce and base, and an embossed foliage design running up and across the column of each. Each is made to hold a 1.25" pillar candle. H: 17cm W: 5.5cm (top) 8.5cm (base) One chip on the underside of the sconce on one candlestick - see photos for reference. ~~ All items are sold as seen.
