This pair of Ceramic Wine Bottle Stand Coasters are vintage Ironstone china made by the Lord Nelson pottery, Hanley, Stoke on Rent and date from the 1970s. They have a central courtship scene in transfer ware and are hand finished with a lovely gold floral border. The colours are beautifully bright and there is no damage. They seem unused. They could be used as ordinary drinks coasters as mini display plates or fir serving after dinner sweets. They measure just over 11cm in diameter.
