Pair of French Jugendstil antique vases. Jugendstil, a Europe wide artistic movement that roughly mirrored what we know as the Art Nouveau period. These vases are French and were probably produced in a factory near Reims sometime after The Great War. They are made from used Artillery Shells and the base uses a method of remoulding a casing for this purpose and the upper lip is from a shell casing.
