A pair of Handmade, Engraved Brass Bowls, one decorated with Elephants, and the other with Tahrs. On the base, we believe the engraving shows a Middle Eastern Cleric. The bowls are vintage from the 1970s and we think Persian in origin - although the style is very similar to those produced in India. From the beautiful elephants and tahrs to the decorative elements of fauna and flora, we love the intricate engravings on these shining handmade brass bowls. They could have a range of uses, from finger bowls at the dining table to trinket or ornamental dishes or even spiritual offering bowls. As always, we have picked these bowls they will look equally at home in a retro or modern aesthetic. Due to the handmade nature of these bowls, they are very slightly different in size.
