A pair of mid century beech-framed dining chairs in the style of Vico Magistretti. Although we can’t verify the design, they’re certainly in the style of Italian architect and designer Vico Magistretti’s work, and likely retailed in the UK through Habitat. They likely date from the mid 1980s, and have super smooth curved edges and a substantial coat of lacquer. The moulded seat back is not just stylish, but also provides excellent back support. They’re very Scandinavian, late mid century in style. They’re really heavy for their size and are clearly of a high quality. The chair pads have been reupholstered in a green velvet fabric, providing a fresh contrast against the more yellow hues of the beech frame. Style them with a teak, beech or oak dining table for that late-mid century, Scandinavian inspired look.
