A pair of good quality Victorian deep-seated button back armchair of country house proportions, the square back with scroll edge top over a sprung seat and raised on ring turned supports with original castors on one chair and none in the other. The seats are sprung and the low seat height of 36 cm is complemented by the 70 cm deep seat. The chairs are in very good condition overall and extremely comfortable, the damask upholstery is in great condition with only one small mark by the arm that is barely visible but needs to be highlighted - please see photos.
