Charming pair of little hand stitched pictures of birds, in their original frames. Wool yarn on open weave canvas. Wooden gilded frames. Professionally framed by the Medici Society. The frames date from the 1930’s - 1940’s, but it’s possible the birds are older. In good vintage/antique condition. The frames show a little surface wear, but nothing significant. The canvas has some very faint areas of discolouration commensurate with age, but again, it’s not significant and is only noticeable when inspected very closely. **Please do check the photos thoroughly as these form part of the description.
