Original Vintage Blue label Ercol Model 391 Dining Chairs. First produced in the 1950’s, these ‘model 391’ Windsor dining chairs have stood the test of time and remain ever-popular. They are design classics with enduring appeal and they look as good today as they did back then. This is a particularly sought-after model with its splayed back spindles that finish beautifully below the line of the seat. It has neat, compact proportions which make it ideal for modern dining areas which can have limited space, both under and round the table. We’re selling these as a matching pair as they were originally acquired. This pair of used, vintage chairs are in very good condition. They have been thoroughly cleaned and polished but otherwise the original Ercol finish has been left well alone. The chair seats are elm and the legs, back and spindles are beech.
